Swauk Forest Discovery Trail - This diverse and unique figure-8 loop trail highlights an ecosystem that changes in the blink of an eye depending on the hillside aspect. From classic subalpine fir and fern switching to ponderosa pines and what should be a good wildflower show. We'll follow the mostly open track with views to bigger peaks that culminates with our own little summit looking out the the west horizon at the behemoths of the Stuart range.
