Please meet me at the Lime Kiln Trailhead geared up and ready to hike by 8:30 AM. This trailhead is just outside of Granite Falls. Parking is free and no pass is needed. A high clearance vehicle is not needed to access the trailhead. There is a porta at the trailhead. If you choose to carpool, please feel free to arrange that with other hikers on the hike.   Carpool/caravan info in hello hiker.

This hike will be a seven mile, approximately 625 feet elevation gain. Most of the elevation will be on the way back. Our average moving pace will be 2.0 mph. Recent trail reports state overgrown trail, including nettles! Therefore, we recommend long sleeves, long pants, and layers. As we hike, we will take breaks as needed for snacks, party separations and pictures. We will stop at all intersections.  Let’s hike together as a group to support each other. I anticipate we will return to the trailhead around lunchtime; therefore, we will not plan a longer lunch stop along the trail. Bring snacks!
