Field trip: GoHike: Beginner Hiking Series
June Hikes: 3.5 to 6 miles, 400 to 1,500 feet gain - Baker Lake to Maple Grove
A scenic hike along the SE shore of Baker Lake through a forest of Big Leaf maples and evergreens. Views of Mt Baker and Mt Shuksan. The trail surface is smooth and broad with little mud. Cross over numerous shallow streams and bridges. While longer, it's an easy hike that can be done almost year round.
