Climb up the beautiful Chirico Trail to two viewpoints that showcase Mt. Rainier and possibly a paraglider or two! This hike counts toward your monthly required GoHike course July trips.

  • Pace: 1.5-2mph

Join us on a friendly, social-paced hike up to Poo Poo Point on Tiger Mountain, starting at the Chirico Trailhead. This is a steep, rocky ascent on single track. The elevation gain on this trail is challenging--1800 feet in under 2 miles. The reward is ample: two beautiful viewpoints for the group to enjoy Mt. Rainier views and maybe paragliders launching. The descent is equally difficult due to the rocky and rooty terrain, and we will be going out-and-back.

We will be meeting bright and early at 7:00am. Parking is very challenging at the Chirico Trailhead, so please be timely. An email will go out ahead of the hike with trail conditions, recommended gear, and potential weather considerations.
