July Hikes: 3.75 to 6.5 miles, 500 to 1,750 feet gain - Northern State Ghost Town

This hike will explore Northern State Recreation Area, a Skagit County Park. There is no ghost town, but it is the old site of the Northern State Mental Hospital farm, which closed in 1973. We have been told that the recently reclaimed meadow will be in peak wildflower bloom.
