Join us on a morning hike to beautiful Little Mashel Falls! Our goal for this hike will be to get outside and enjoy the spring runoff while returning to the trailhead safely. We will plan to do introductions and orientation at 8:00am, then hit the trail. My hike style is social, but destination-focused and I encourage getting to know your fellow hikers. I am happy to stop for photos and plant identification, but ask that folks keep up with the group. We will hike as a loose group (everyone remains within eyesight) at a pace of 1.5-2mph depending on how the group is feeling and will plan to stop for a snack at the Middle Falls.
We will begin our hike at the Bud Blancher Trailhead. The trail starts out relatively flat for the first 1.5 miles before becoming steeper as we climb towards the falls. Poles will be helpful, especially if the trail is muddy or slippery. We will plan to hike at least to the lower and middle falls and can continue to the upper falls if the group is interested. We should finish hiking within 3 hours. After the hike, those who are interested are invited to stop at a local restaurant for lunch.

8:00am at the Bud Blancher Trailhead. I recommend arriving by 7:45am so you can be geared up and ready to go at 8:00. No permit is needed and bathrooms are available at the trailhead.
