This is a beginner’s backpacking trip, giving students the opportunity to try out their gear and apply the skills they've learned in the B3 course. We'll be thru-hiking in an area featuring classic alpine terrain, lakes, peaks, and views. Participants must be comfortable traversing steep scree/talus, areas of modest exposure, blowdowns, and sometimes-overgrown routes.
We'll hike at a moderate pace (2 mph), and take breaks for snacks, views, and pictures.
