Field trip: Backpacking Building Blocks (B3) Course
Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Baker River to Noisy Creek Camp
Baker Lake has good views of Mt. Baker and is a nice early season trip with lower mileage and elevation chamge, great for trying out your backpacking kit and practicing new skills. We'll add a RT one mile, +600' side trip and visit "Big Doug", the largest Douglas Fir in the area. Any B3er can ask permission to register starting April 6; email hess@whidbey.com and provide your B3 mentors name and recent hikes or backpacks you've completed so we can ensure this trip is a good fit for you.
