This seminar is part of a 2 session series for Foothills Climbing Leaders and climbing leader applicants applicants. The curriculum is not currently set.

Priority for these sessions will go to approved Foothills Climb Leaders and approved Foothills Climb Leader Applicants applicants. Extra spots will be available at the discretion of the leader. If you do not have an approved application through Foothills Climbing, you will need the following information when requesting permission

  • Climbing Education CV, including when you took Multipitch Climbing and Alpine Ice
  • Climbing Resume
  • Attestation from your Climbing Committee Chairperson or Leadership Chairperson stating that you are on the climb leader track for your branch.

If you are not a member of Foothills climbing, DO NOT ASK FOR PERMISSIONT TO ENROLL UNTIL 9/1

This an advanced seminar, reviewing rope management, rescue systems, and swinging leads with 3 climbers on a single/twin/half rope system. The curriculum will be be finalized before the clinic
