Snow Anchors
- Learn and practice traditional snow anchors, like vertical pickets, mid clip pickets, and deadman pickets
- Review of bollards
- Learn/practice using non traditional anchors, like skis, backpacks, water bottles, etc
Belaying
- Learn/practice methods of belaying a follower, including butt-axe belay, stomper belays
Snow Shelters
- Practice building overnight snow shelters
Depends on the gate opening time. Plan to be at Longmire at 0800.
