This MORNING field trip will focus on uphill and downhill running.

  • Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 3.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 750 ft

We will meet at 6:15 AM near the tennis courts at Central Park in Issaquah, WA.  Please note the GPS link, as the park is sprawling. No parking pass is needed.

We will run the Coal Mine Loop in a clock-direction from Central Park, starting with a flat gravel warm up, then a mildly uphill section, a long downhill, and then a steeper (walking) uphill, back to a cool down on the gravel path.  We'll keep a moderate pace of 12-25mph overall and enjoy the sights and sounds of spring in the Issaquah Alps.
