Intro to Frontcountry Trail Running - Carkeek Park

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 3.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 500 ft

Meet at 7:00pm at Carkeek Park, 950 NW Carkeek Park Rd., Seattle, WA 98177.

From the main entrance proceed straight then bear right and go uphill (it's a one-way loop so you'll have to do this anyway.) When you come out of the trees by a playground/picnic area, park there- don't drive downhill again.

This session focuses the topic of safety and potential hazards on the trail (wildlife, water, people, first aid, insects...)
