Backcountry Trail Running Leadership

As a backcountry trail run leader for the Mountaineers, you can lead all levels of trail running trips at all suitable routes listed at mountaineers.org. To earn the Backcountry Trail Run Leader badge, a prospective leader must meet certain requirements as detailed in the Trail Running Standards.
