Alpine Touring or Telemark or Split-snowboards with correctly sized climbing skins. Wax-less skis with patterned bottoms are not sufficient.
When skiing/riding down the hill, retention devices are required.
An All-Area UpHill pass will be required again this season. Last year it was a nominal $5.00 fee for processing. But the Summit is switching their ticketing system and the details have not been finalized as to how you can obtain an UpHill pass. Stay tuned!
