Multi-week Alpine-Touring (Randonnee) /Telemark/Snowboarding skills improvement training and coaching.

**This class is offered by The Summit at Snoqualmie SnowSports School and taught by  instructors from The Summit at Snoqualmie SnowSports School.  Discounted group pricing is available for members of The Mountaineers. Please read the description below for important information about the fees and dates associated with these lessons.**

MULTI-WEEK SKI/SNOWBOARD LESSONS

We're back for another season - skill improvement in the discipline of your choice.   Sign up for multi-week lessons held on [hopefully] six consecutive Wednesday evenings.  All class sections emphasize skills/drills/maneuvers that can improve your in-area and out-of-area  (back-country) sliding, be it steep, crud or powder. Lessons are taught by the PSIA-affiliated Summit Learning Center instructors at the Summit-at-Snoqualmie.  We offer multiple sections grouped by ability level and discipline and strive to keep class size small.

  • Days/Times:  Wednesday evenings in Jan and Feb from 7:00-9:00 p.m
  • Dates: Jan 10, 17, 24, 31; Feb 7, 14 2024  (plan for 1 extra Wed if we have any closures)
  • Location: Summit-at-Snoqualmie, Summit West on I-90 at Snoqualmie Pass
  • Price: $290.00

NOTE: Price does not include the cost of lift tickets or a season pass. A daily/nightly  lift ticket or season pass is required for each lesson.

Course Requirements

This course has no scheduled activities.

Roster
Required Equipment

Alpine-Touring (Randonnee):  regular downhill alpine gear is acceptable and more than OK.   If you have A/T gear, this is an opportunity to try it and get more familiar with it.   Runaway retention devices are required (brakes or leashes).

Telemark:  we require metal edge single-camber free-heel Telemark ski gear, with retention devices.  NTN or 75MM gear is just fine.   NNN BC is not adequate.

Snowboards:  split boards are not required.  No climbing for the downhill sessions.

A Season's Pass or Daily lift ticket is required for each session.   Don't wait until the night of the lesson to get a pass.   Daily tickets are only available online.
