There will be an overview of the course format and schedule, then an introductory lecture about glaciers and glacier travel.

This is also your opportunity to see examples of gear, ask questions, and get help setting up any equipment you already have - there will be time after the lecture to break into small groups with instructors.

Please have the prework completed (course survey, first quiz).
