Topics of instruction will include selection and use of proper equipment, conditioning, what to rent, where to go, how to plan and evaluate snowshoe routes to avoid avalanche risk, winter travel, safety, and choosing an outing. Students will be eligible to participate in basic snowshoe tours with the confidence of having a foundation in winter travel.

Virtual lecture to be held the evening of January 18. Zoom link for meeting will be sent a few days prior to the event. Lecture will run from 6:30 - 8:30.
