Intermediate Climbing Course - Everett 2025

The Everett Branch offers five individual modules that comprise the Intermediate Climbing Course (ICC):
- Introduction to Leading on Rock (LOR)
- Intermediate Glacier Climbing (IGC)
- Introduction to Alpine Ice (Ice)
- Introduction to Winter and Mixed Climbing (Winter/Mixed)
- Self-Rescue Methods (Self-Rescue)

To enroll you must apply and be accepted to the Everett Leading on Rock class (application form on the LOR course page.) If you are accepted into LOR, then you are automatically accepted into the Intermediate Climbing Course.

Completion of the  ICC requires completion of all 5  modules listed above, AIARE Level-1, along with a number of additional volunteer/instructor and experience climb requirements described in the current ICC Manual.   ICC typically takes students 3 to 5 years to complete

Some modules of the ICC can be taken independently as stand-alone courses if the applicant meets the prerequisites  and space is available.

This listing tracks students who enter LOR and ICC in the current year.
