Everett Intermediate Alpine Ice Field Trip - Heliotrope Ridge and Lower Coleman Glacier & Seracs

Meet at Heliotrope Ridge trailhead @ 8:15AM. NW Forest Pass required at TH.

We will hike to camp just above the glacier, drop our overnight gear, and then proceed to the glacier for instruction and practice. Day 2 will be half day of instruction and practice on the glacier in the morning before returning to camp, packing up and hiking out.

Note that there are several stream crossings along the way to camp. One or two of them can be challenging when the water is high. Plan to bring trekking poles and wading may be required.
