Join us for Episode 3 of Mountaineers Books Web Series with author Maria Rudd Ruth. Maria has written more than a dozen books about natural wonders that have captivated her attention. Maria’s current book, A Sideways Look at Clouds, explores the science and mystery of clouds with obsessive fascination and shares with us what’s she learned—why there are so many different kinds, how they form, how to understand and appreciate the clouds around you.

Maria is a captivating storyteller who blends science, wonder, and humor in ways that make natural phenomena understandable. You’ll have fun listening to her presentation and learning things about clouds that you didn’t know before. If you’ve wanted to be able to identify clouds, understand some basic cloud science, and learn how clouds affect you, this is the webinar for you.

This is an online event, so you can attend from any web-connected computer or device. The presentation will run for 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A.

Register even if you are unable to attend on this evening, and we will email you a recording of the event to listen to when it's convenient.
