For the past four years, writer and editor Anna Katz and kayak- and ski guide Shane Robinson have been on the hunt for Washington's best swimming holes, and they're ready to share their findings in the new guide Swimming Holes of Washington.

Shane Robinson is an American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) ski guide in the winter and a treehouse builder the rest of the year. He has been exploring the mountains, rivers, and forests of the Cascades ever since he moved to Seattle with his wife in 2002.
