Heather “Anish” Anderson has thru-hiked the U.S.'s mega trails—the Appalachian, the Continental Divide, and the Pacific Crest—three times. In her debut memoir, Thirst, published in 2019, Heather details her experience about her record-breaking hike on the PCT. Now, she lets us in on her account of her self-supported fastest known time journey on the AT in 2015.
