Alaska Trails is excited to present the 13th installment of the Trail Tales storytelling series, featuring a story from guidebook author Lisa Maloney.

In the spirit of Arctic Entries, storytellers will share seven minute stories about their trail experiences, adventures and life in general. Come enjoy this fun event and support Alaska Trails and the Great Land Trust.

Lisa Maloney is an avid outdoorswoman and professional travel/outdoors writer based in Anchorage. She's learned some of her lessons the hard way, but aspires to be as nosey as possible so that she can learn from others' mistakes, too. She's written three full-length guidebooks, including the just-released Day Hiking Southcentral Alaska and the award-winning Moon Alaska, but her heart is still happiest out on the trails instead of at a computer. Lisa will tell a story about the strangest wilderness survival class she ever attended.

Pizza by the slice and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Copies of Day Hiking Southcentral Alaska will be available for purchase and signing.

Tickets are $15. Reserve yours here.
