10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO GET OUTSIDE WITH US?

The organization and its volunteers are kind, patient, and organized when it comes to teaching their members. Their knowledge of the outdoors comes from years of training and life experience. During lessons, I feel safe and encouraged. After each class or event with The Mountaineers, I find myself unafraid and eager to explore more of the outdoors in the future.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MOUNTAINEERS MEMORY?

I took a Cross-Country Skiing Course this winter and the laughter from myself and my classmates after each fall was definitely an experience that I will never forget.

WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

I am inspired by the volunteers. All the time and genuine effort of encouraging and making it possible for individuals to partake in outdoor activities is remarkable.

WHAT DOES ADVENTURE MEAN TO YOU?

To me, adventure defines a moment when it took courage to explore somewhere you've never been before.

LIGHTNING ROUND!

Sunrise or sunset? Sunset
Smile or game face? Smile
What's your 11th Essential? A friend
What’s your happy place? My bed
Post-adventure meal of choice? Korean Barbeque or Hotpot. Both gotta be 'all you can eat' as well.
If you could be a rockstar at any outdoor activity overnight, what would it be? I would love to be a rockstar at bouldering but I was not blessed in the upper-body-strength department or the core-strength department and my lower body strength is not that great either.
