At The Mountaineers, the learning never stops. Every time we go out together, we sharpen our skills and learn more about the natural world. Any volunteer will tell you that every trip and every student provides an opportunity to become a better leader. And each of the 6,000 volunteer-led trips in the last year created space for leaders and students alike to learn with and from one another, and build genuine connections that flourish.
With a nearly 120-year legacy as innovators in outdoor leadership, The Mountaineers story continues to be written through the generosity of volunteers and supporters of our mission. Donations equip volunteers with professional development opportunities and publishing resources that provide vision, mentorship, and a clear path toward creating a thriving outdoor community. Donations, big and small, move us closer to ensuring outdoor education is accessible for all.
We are looking for just 42 more Mountaineers like you to make a spring donation by May 31 to support our mission and community. Can we count on you?
“My family and I love supporting the mission of The Mountaineers and helping more people gain access to what has given so much to us. I hope others find opportunities to learn about themselves, grow, and explore as I have.
