Calling all Conditioning Hiking Series (CHS) trip leaders and alumni! Join us June 21 at the Seattle Program Center to celebrate and congratulate CHS founders Kelly & Matt Cleman for their vision and dedication. Since 2005, nearly 1,000 Mountaineers have graduated CHS, earning their course badge, improving their fitness, and hiking to farther and more spectacular places than they ever thought possible.

About Conditioning Hiking Series

Kelly and Matt founded CHS to support hikers in bridging the gap between short and long-distance hikes. The course builds gradually, increasing distance and elevation gain each month to improve participants' strength and endurance. Over the years, participants have successfully hiked notable Pacific Northwest trails, including Ptarmigan Ridge, Tatoosh Peak, Seven Lakes Basin & High Divide, and many more. Thank you to all course participants, including 2024 course participants who are helping us ring in 20 incredible years.
