Beautiful weather was the theme for our hikes today. Skyline Divide and Heliotrope Ridge both had enough shade so that the temps in the 80s didn't impact our fun. Biting flies were a problem. We did the stream crossings on Heliotrope Ridge in the afternoon and they were definitely challenging. Roads to the trailheads had some potholes but were passable. All in all, a great day completing 2 fabulous hikes!
