Day Hike - Rattlesnake Ledge

Clear skies, good view and snow on Rattlesnake Ledge

  • The trail is in overall good condition. Lots of snow on Thursday evening though.

The hike was moved from Wednesday evening to Thursday due to a terrible weather forecast for Wednesday (thunderstorms). Thursday the sky was blue and the views were clear, what a change. Lots of snow on the trail, we went slow and careful. We had really good views from our dinner spot on Rattlesnake Ledge. 

There was plenty of parking, staff are enforcing closing at dusk.
