Night Sky

Observation nights are one or two overnight camping trips to a dedicated Dark Sky location. Once there, we will be able to use telescopes and other astronomy gear to locate and appreciate celestial objects and what a truly dark night sky has to offer. There will be suggested observing lists to complete, or you can explore on your own with the support of a Night Sky Leader. You can bring your own observing gear, though some will also be provided. Keep in mind that temperatures can vary significantly between the day and night, so be sure to pack layers!
