Stewardship - Shi Shi Beach

Help Washington CoastSavers Clean-Up Shi-Shi on Earth Day 2019!

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 8.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 200 ft

Kitsap Scramble students have priority on half of the available slots (10) until  15 April.

Hobuck Beach Resort usually waives camping fees for Earthday Cleanup. I plan on car-camping there on Friday night.

Dress for the weather.  Gardening  gloves  work well.

Bring a hearty lunch, and plenty of water. A hot drink is nice if it's raining.

Bring old large backpack, or a way to haul stuff. I usually put a large trashbag inside my 70L pack and fill the backpack. You're encouraged to tie\lash\binner\strap as much as you can carry.

More info coming ...

Meet at Hobuck Beach Resort at 9:45AM on April 20th.

After signing in and getting trash bags, we'll jam in more tightly and pool to Shi-Shi.

Carpooling  from the metro area recommended due the distance (130 miles)
