Hey Basic Students! The easiest stewardship opportunity you'll get this year will be our Longmire Volunteer Campground Cleanup. We do this in order to be able to use the campground Friday and Saturday nights for FT 6&7 (otherwise, we'd be camping an hour away at Alder Lake!).

Thursday, May 18th, 9:00am start at Longmire Campground (turn in to Longmire, go past the lodge, turn down the road by the ranger station, keep going over the big wooden bridge and follow the dirt road a little ways down the river).

Show up at 9:00am to check-in with park staff, who will provide tools and instructions. Primary activities will be removing blown down limbs and getting the camp sites ready to go for the season.
