Drysuits required! Be prepared for cold weather and colder water. Winter neoprene gloves, headwear, and hot beverages recommended. Our emphasis will be to maintain a 3 knot pace on the water, while still enjoying the varied scenery. We plan to be back to the launch by 2pm. All interested folks can join us for pizza post paddle.
Meet at the Seward Park tennis court parking lot -just south of the park entrance. Be ready to launch by 10:15 am. We will plan to head south to Pritchard Park. Then we can cross Lake Washington to Mercer Island, and follow the shore north for a snack break at Groveland Park. After snack we can cross back over to the north end of Seward, and loop St Andrews Bay before enjoying the wooded shoreline back to our launch site.
