Naturalist Trip - Green Lake (Seattle)

Lets go birding! Grab your binoculars and join our Birding Monday walk at Green Lake park. With the lake and hundreds of trees it s a magnet for birds and waterfowl. We'll have fun walking at a leisurely pace searching for and identifying birds. This trip is appropriate for all level of birders.

Our main goal is to bird as a group, have fun and enjoy this beautiful park.  We will bird for approximately 3-4 hours. The pace is slow, stoping and standing as we bird.   Bring binoculars, scopes, birding apps and guides of your choosing.  It’s best to download apps and bird packs beforehand where internet speeds are best.  All experience and knowledge levels are welcome.  I encourage everyone to share their questions, knowledge and skill. 

If you don't have binoculars don't let that stop you from attending.  Hopefully I can borrow a pair for you. Call me at 206-550-3890.

We'll meet at 8:30am at the eastside parking lot by the coffee shop. The parking lot entrance is at Latona and E Green Lake Dr N. Arrive early to use the restroom so that you are ready to go at 8:30.
