Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain No. 2
A good conditioner between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Day hike up the lesser traveled West Tiger No. 2. This trail doesn't get the traffic as West Tiger No. 3, but the view on a clear day is spectacular and the trail is a bit more interesting.

This is a mentored hike with an experienced hiker and experienced leader. The Trip Leader will send a detailed route map to participants before the trip. Even though our pace will be on the easy side of moderate (about 2mph), this trail starts out nice with minimal elevation gain; however, some sections of this trail are steep but don't last too long. We will hike the trail rain or shine and expect to take 4-6 hours car to car. Be sure to plan and pack accordingly with clothing and food / water.
Take Exit 20 (High Point) off of I-90, a few miles east of Issaquah and turn south on 270th Ave SE. Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right onto SE 79th St and continue west about 0.4 miles. There are usually cars parked along SE 79th St in front of the gate to the upper parking lot. We will start at the trailhead in front of the gate to the High Point parking lot (same area as the Cable Line trailhead). Meet at 8am. No parking permit is required.
