Apr. 3, Sun - WF Miller River and Barclay Lake (M) (GT Skykomish) 9+ mi, 1500' + gain. Meet at 7:30 am Brickyard P & R (NE 160th St off I-405) 1 hour. Pete Van Voast, 425-736-3433, NW forest pass required. peter.j.vanvoast@boeing.com (s3/21-3/31) FS2 Two short trips in the Baring area will be combined to make a full day. The pace will be social to moderate. The W.F. Miller river (~5 mi and 1100 gain) will be the first trip. This trip includes a cobbled road with very minimal brush, lots of solitude and an "routine" creek crossing. A short car trip will (~20 minutes) will be taken to the Barclay Lake trail. After getting to Barclay Lake, Eagle Lake will be attempted as snow permits. (4+ mi and 400+ vertical feet).
