Please note the early start time, no complaining allowed. We can watch the sunrise on the drive out (about an 1:45 drive from the park and ride).
There are some very overgrown areas (you need to watch your eyes with the twigs and branches) and some route finding. There have been snakes seen on this trail this fall. It is hunting season, but hunting is not allowed in the canyon we will be hiking. We will stay together. I scouted this on Oct 19th, https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-reports/trip_report.2019-10-20.9283313476
6:30 AM at the Park and Ride at exit 22 on I-90 (the Preston Exit, take a left and go over I-90, take a left at the stop sign you come to after going over I-90, and then a quick left into the Park and Ride).
