Mountain bike/hike combo to Snoqualmie Lake to check out fall colors. If the forecast holds, we will have sunshine. We will stop by Otter Falls on the return if time allows.

  • Mileage: 17.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 3,200 ft
  • Pace: moderate

We will mountain bike to Big Creek Falls, 5 miles and 500' gain, then hike to Snoqualmie Lake, about 3.5 miles and 1500' gain each way.

The former Taylor River Road is loose and rocky in places.  A high skill level on a bike is not required, but this should not be your first time on a mountain bike.  Recommend a bike with at least 1 3/4" tires and front suspension.
