We will hike up to Poo Poo Point via the High School Trail while maintaining a steady pace between 2.0-2.5mph, with brief stops every hour and a 10-15 minute snack / lunch break at the top. This is an out and back hike; we will return to the trailhead the same way we came, likely moving faster on the downhill as is safe.

Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and be prepared for wet  / cold weather just in case.  Sturdy waterproof footwear and hiking poles are recommended, along with warm layers & rain gear depending on weather forecast.

I'm looking forward to hiking with you all! More details about this hike will be provided in my “Hello Hiker” email, sent a few days ahead of our hike to registered participants.

Meet at 8am at the northern trailhead: beyond the Issaquah Sportsmen's Club, the road dead ends at the trailhead. There is room for about six cars to park at the trailhead, and room for many more along the wide shoulders of the approaching street. There are no facilities here.

No parking pass required.

Directions from WTA:

"To reach the northern trailhead, turn left at the light at Sunset Way and in two blocks turn right on 2nd Ave SE. In about 0.3 miles, turn left on SE Evans Street. The pavement ends beyond 4th Pl SE (watch for potholes.) Follow SE Evans Street as it eventually bends sharply to the right and, beyond the Sportsmen's Club, dead ends at the trailhead. There is room for about six cars to park at the trailhead, and room for many more along the wide shoulders of the approaching street. There are no facilities here."
