Meet at the Tunnel Creek trailhead at 8:45 am with boots on and ready to go. https://maps.app.goo.gl/5B5PDbHphKypcxhD7
Northwest Forest Pass required to park at the trailhead.
From Seattle, drive north on I-5 to Everett and take exit 194 onto Highway 2. Drive east on Highway 2. Continue past the town of Skykomish for approximately 12 miles, until the sharp hairpin turn. Immediately after the Tunnel Creek bridge, turn right onto Forest Service Road 6095 (only possible from eastbound lane) (slow down when you get close, because if you miss it, you will have a long detour to get back). Follow FSR 6095, and at 1.2 miles turn left to the Tunnel Creek trailhead parking area.
