This is a family hike to see the salmon come home! We will get to learn all about the life cycle of these amazing creatures from the Capitol Land Trusts docents and the Puget Sound Estuarium team. It will be a very casual paced adventure mainly focused on seeing the salmon, appropriate for all ages and geared towards kids and their adults.

As a family activity the registration requires permission asked for signing up youth. Please consider permission granted and sign up children accordingly.

We will meet up at 10 am at the Bayshore Preserve. We will plan for a couple of hours enjoying the salmon and hiking around, and then likely eat a picnic lunch before driving back to Olympia. The Bayshore Preserve is about 40 minutes from downtown Olympia.
