We'll ski up the Amabilis trail at a moderate pace.  Our plan will be to ski the loop on top for a total distance of 11 miles with 2000' of elevation gain.  We'll stop for a lunch break along the way.  We may adjust the plan depending on grooming and weather conditions.  You should be comfortable with sustained up and downhill skiing and able to sustain a steady moderate pace.  We'll descend at a moderate pace with rest stops as needed.  You should be able to control your speed and turn on blue XC ski routes.  Bring warm clothes and gloves to wear for the descent.  Metal edge skis recommended (in case of icy conditions).

If you haven't skied this trail before or have any questions, please reach out to leader before signing up.
