Priority for Tacoma Climbing community until 6/11/25. This should not be your first basic climb. Students should include completed/planned trips with participation request, as well as conditioning plan for this climb.
Plan is to climb to Camp Schurman on Thursday. Spend Friday resting and hydrating, remaining at Camp Schurman. Summit attempt Saturday, with departure from camp around midnight. Return all the way to trailhead Saturday.
Vehicle entrance fee or annual pass required for park entrance. Rainier climbing permit required for all participants @ $70. Must be purchased and provided to trip leader at least 7 days before departure. Camping fees of $22/person payable to trip leader.
Meet at the White River Ranger Station at 8am, July 10.
