We'll be up early and moving from the Marble Mtn Sno-Park  around 5 am.  The pace will be brisk, skinning up at least 1000'/hr vertical, to reach the crater rim in about 6 hours.  Total of 5,700 ft elevation gain means this will be strenuous.

Lunch at the top, then rip the skins for great corn skiing back down!

In your email for permission to join, please tell me your current fitness, backcountry skiing ability, and your ski gear for the trip.  Heavier in-bounds oriented side country gear will slow you down.  Also, splitboarders beware that the lower two miles is pretty flat.  AIARE 1 or equivalent avalanche and companion rescue training required.

I'll take care of the climbing permit.  Note that a Sno-Park permit is required for each vehicle.

Meet at the Marble Mtn Sno-Park on Saturday afternoon/evening and car camp.  Early morning start on Sunday for the one-day tour.
