Leaders permission is required (206-443-9393 or better eey@eeyore.info ).  Permission will not be based on skill or experience level, but rather understanding how these Yosemite outings work and space available.  If more people are interested than space available we will do a random drawing.

I have a campsite reserved in Upper Pines September 18 - 25 and possibly beyond.  This will be my 24th Mountaineers/climbing trip to Yosemite since 1996.  The routine is that each day is planned the night before, usually over dinner on the Curry Village Pizza deck (or watching El Cap climbers setting up Biveys in El Cap meadows).  Different folks with similar abilities and interests team up and decide what they will climb and plan details.  I personally plan to focus on mostly 3rd class scrambles ands hikes of alpine peaks and welcome anyone to join me.  During my July 2015 trip I summited 16 peaks in 11 days (USGS Topo view, Google Earth view).  I have a number of priorities/options for this September trip (USGS Topo view, Google Earth view).  Depending on the weather I may go down earlier to try to bag some of the Tuolumne priorities.  The South Rim peaks are probably a 1 or 2 night bivey.

I may lead a few really low end rock climbs in the valley like on rest days e. g. Sunnyside Bench Regular Route, 3p, yds5.5 (Under Lost Arrow Spire & next to Yosemite Falls) and/or Monday Morning Slab, 3p, yds5.2~5.4 (right side of Glacier Apron w/ great view down Valley).

Yosemite Valley Upper Pines Campground, Site 171 after noon on 9/18 until noon on 9/25.  The "Limits" are 6 people, 2 tents, 2 cars.  Usually with people out climbing/scrambling/hiking and overnight bevies we are OK with 8 people and there are places to park extra cars.
