Alpine Scramble - Upper Lena Lake

A 3-day, 2 night scramble of Bretherton and Lena with camping at Upper Lena Lake. We will have time to savor the area, with opportunity for swimming and berry picking to supplement the views.

The scramble of Bretherton has significant exposure and requires routefinding.  Participants should be prepared to assist with navigation and be comfortable with exposure. 

Leader has secured 2 nights camping at Upper Lena Lake, $16/person.

Preliminary itinerary:

Day 1: drive to TH, hike to Upper Lena Lake and set up camp.

Day 2: scramble Bretherton if weather favorable.  Dry rock only.  Return to camp.

Day 3: scramble Lena.  Hike out.
