This trip is a good introductory snow scramble for students. It does not have high exposure to heights, and will include an hour to practice ice axe skills before summiting.

Trip is in partnership with Conservation NW for searching for signs of endangered species. Leader is certified in track & sign identification. If we see any tracks or sign of such, we’ll stop to record & photograph it, but should still be able to reach our destination.

The plan is to only do Silver Peak (from the north at Windy Pass) and return. If time allows we can extend to the south (false) summit, and return via the Pacific Crest Trail on the east.

This trip is primarily for Everett Scrambling students for graduation purposes. If you are from another branch or are a Scrambling graduate, do not register until Wed 5/6 after 12am.
