Alpine Scramble - Mount Washington (Olympics)

We will take the standard scrambling route: Grade 1, Class 3. Moderate pace to enjoy the views of Puget Sound. Preference given to Olympia Scrambling new graduates. Two slots are saved for new Olympia Branch Members. If you are from another branch, please state so in your email to be placed on waiting list.

Haggen's Grocery Store in West Olympia at 6 am for carpooling. Leave promptly at 6:15 due to limited trailhead parking.

Bring plenty of water. The group will carry a rope and anchors in case they are needed. It's a thrilling scamble trip. Leader has lots of climbing experience and patience with beginners. It's all about having a fun trip. Can spent time reviewing  stance, hand holds and foot placement for those who request it.
