You must have scrambled with me to request permission. Looking for an experienced group. Alternate date will be the following Thursday evening through Sunday if weather is poor.

July 3, 6pm Sol Duc River TH. Possible to carpool from my place in Port Angeles at 5pm.
Tentative itinerary:
Thurs July 3: hike in 3-4 easy miles, camp on Sol Duc River.
Fri July 4: hike 8mi, up 3600ft to Cat Basin with a swim in Heart Lake.
Sat. July 5: pre-dawn start. This will be a long day to summit Carrie, with exposed hiking to the Catwalk and start of our technical scramble. The Catwalk will take about 2hrs each way. After the Catwalk is a steep but easy meadow to a miserable sidehill scree slog, possibly with some snow, around a basin to the summit of Carrie. Then reverse, back to our camp by nightfall.
Sun: July 6: 10+mi out with a nice dip in Heart Lake.
