My goals for this trip will be to stay safe, have fun, tag the summit and get some snow and rock practice. Hopefully there will be good snow.

Expectations for this trip:

  • Moderate+ pace, with short stops about every hour or so.
  • If the weather is nice, we might spend some time at the summit.
  • Participants should come prepared with the proper gear and an understanding of the route. See the trip report link below, which also includes the track.
  • We will stay together at all times.
  • If the weather turns bad, this scramble may be cancelled.
  • Final communication will be sent out on the morning of Saturday 5/16.

Required gear: Helmet, Ice Axe, Mountaineering Boots, Crampons (unlikely to be used but need to carry).

There is an excellent trip report from Philippe:

6:30 AM at Preston Park & Ride - The TH is very limited, so we will have to organize carpool from the Park & Ride.
