The North Sound Leadership Conference - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

The North Sound Leadership Conference is a fun day of community connection and leadership development dedicated to thanking, inspiring, and empowering The Mountaineers current and aspiring volunteer leaders.

  • Casual

At the Mountaineers we believe that everyone has the potential for outdoor leadership. For over a century our community has been led and shaped by volunteer leaders. The North Sound Leadership Conference both celebrates that legacy and supports the continued growth of current and aspiring leaders.

The Mountaineers North Sound Leadership Conference is a one-day conference at the Seattle Program Center in Magnuson Park. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to connect with other leaders and to hear from epic presenters. We have carefully curated a lineup of both esteemed outdoor professionals and seasoned leaders from within The Mountaineers. A series of interactive sessions will explore the many facets of leadership – from risk management to conservation and advocacy, and mental health.  Hear from and meet some of your favorite Mountaineers Books authors, namely Paul Bannick and Dave Hunter!

The bookstore will be open during morning registration and the lunch hour. This is a great time to take advantage of our 25% OFF ALL BOOKS Winter Sale!
